Kevin Lee is the President and CEO of Mid‑America Transplant, where he oversees organ donation operations and stakeholder engagement across donor families, transplant centers, community hospitals, government agencies, and community nonprofit partners. He also serves as Executive Director of the Mid‑America Transplant Foundation, which has awarded more than $4.5 million in support of organ donation and transplantation research since 2016.

A nationally recognized healthcare leader, Kevin was elected to the Board of Directors of the Baldrige Foundation and is a 2024 recipient of the Foundation’s Award for Leadership Excellence. Under his leadership, Mid‑America Transplant became the first organ procurement organization in the nation to receive a second Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, with sustained performance improvements contributing to significant growth in organ and tissue donation over the past decade. Kevin’s prior Baldrige involvement includes participation in the Baldrige Executive Fellows Program and service on the Baldrige Board of Examiners.

Kevin became involved with ALF in 2017 to help advance awareness of living donor transplantation and organ donation. In addition to serving on ALF’s National Board of Directors, he is a member of the ALF’s Audit Committee, where he brings deep expertise in organ donation, transplantation systems, and performance excellence to support ALF’s mission on behalf of patients and families nationwide.
