The American Liver Foundation Bili the Brave Toolkit™ will support children with biliary atresia (BA) during one of their most critical and uncertain times. The Bili the Brave Toolkit™ will include Bili the Brave™, a special plush lion “gifted” with biliary atresia, which includes an age-appropriate embroidered scar and bandage to acknowledge places where an “ouch” may be felt by the child during their own BA journey, and a medical bracelet. The toolkit also includes a corresponding children’s book and a nylon string bag. Additional educational materials, such as a matching animated video for children and resources for adults, will be available at BilitheBrave.org starting in October and on the American Liver Foundation website liverfoundation.org. The Bili the Brave Toolkit will help so many children at such an important time.
