Dr. Heller is Chief of the translational Hepatology section at the National Institute of Health where he focuses on rare liver diseases. His work is directed at understanding the underlying biology of the diseases so that better therapies may be developed. In this video, Dr. Heller discusses the importance of studying rare diseases and provides unique insight and suggestions for living with a rare disease.
