French Toast with Cinnamon:

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices whole-wheat bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup fat-free milk
  • 1½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Sliced fresh fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  2. Dip both sides of the bread slices into egg mixture. Make sure all the egg mixture is absorbed into the bread.
  3. Place dipped bread slices on heated skillet (medium). Cook each side until golden brown; about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Top with sliced fresh fruit (optional).
