Autoimmune Hepatitis
I was diagnosed one year ago after going into acute liver failure. I found out that I have ESLD and HE. Now I am on a transplant list and stable for the time being. I am doing my best to enjoy my gift of life! I am a married mother of three kids ages nine, five, and four.
But I’m a newbie. It’s hard, but what’s been working for me is just remembering how happy I am that I am still alive after the HE fog cleared and the liver medications started working for me. I am lucky and I try to remind myself of that daily and sometimes, hourly if needed.
