David Frank

Chair, National Board of Directors

David Frank currently serves as Chair of ALF’s national board of directors. He brings more than two decades of experience in financial markets, with deep expertise in trading technology and client strategy. David spent ten years at Goldman Sachs before joining fintech startup Liquid, where he led the Client Success team. Since 2015, he has been with Wells Fargo Securities and currently serves as Senior Product Manager for Equities Cash & Derivatives at Wells Fargo Securities in NYC.

David became involved with ALF in 2014 following the loss of his mother, Geraldine, at age 62, after a brief but devastating battle with late‑stage metabolic dysfunction‑associated steatohepatitis (MASH), formerly known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Motivated to raise awareness of this often‑silent and deadly liver disease, David joined ALF’s National Board in 2022 and founded NASH AWARE, a global educational blog dedicated to increasing public understanding of NASH. The blog reaches readers in dozens of countries each month.

David is a frequent speaker at NASH conferences and International NASH Day events and is regularly featured in ALF educational content. In addition to serving as Board Chair, he is an active member of ALF’s Executive, Finance, and Nominating Committees.
