I was a young mother, I had two kids, my dad had recently died, and I had a bad cold that would just not clear up. I was so exhausted. Ultimately I was diagnosed with PBC.

No matter what I did or how I felt, the color just wasn’t normal. After months of questions and tests, I was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis.

Tom signed up to join a Run For Research Team and compete in the Boston Marathon. This is where he met Zac Rue, a little boy living with Biliary Atresia.

At only 3 ½ years old, Aiden has been hospitalized at least 10 times, had countless doctor visits and has undergone two liver transplants.
