AMERICAN SINGER, ACTOR AND TEEN HEARTTHROB

Most know Bobby Rydell from hit songs like, Wild One and Volare and other classics like, Bye Bye Birdie and West Side Story. However, what most don’t know is that in 2012, Bobby underwent a double organ transplant, receiving 75% of a liver and one kidney.

Bobby got involved with the American Liver Foundation in 2016. He supported the liver community by raising awareness through advocacy, video PSA’s and raising funds through signature events like Flavors of Philadelphia and more.

Bobby, thank you for dedicating your time, talent and experience to ALF and the liver community. Your story is an inspiration to many and your passion for spreading awareness about alcohol-related liver disease and organ donation is as legendary as you. You will be missed. #BobbyRydell
