American Liver Foundation is gathering stories from patients, caregivers, and transplant recipients to better understand how liver disease impacts the ability to work, maintain employment, and support themselves and their families.

As policymakers continue discussions around work requirements and access to healthcare programs, such as eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid, it is critical that lawmakers understand the real-life experiences of people living with liver disease.
