Our Mission

ALF promotes education, advocacy, support services and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. ALF Mid-Atlantic provides a wide variety of these services including information and referral, education programs, support groups, exciting fundraising events, and an array of volunteer opportunities.

Liver Screenings

Annandale, Virginia

MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute

FREE liver screening to the D.C. Metropolitan area. This screening allows for testing of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and ALT levels. ALT levels help measure overall liver function. One blood sample will be collected. A follow-up consultation will be provided to discuss further care options if needed.

Walk-ins accepted on Tuesdays from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Scheduled appointments available upon request.
