Objective

The objective of the ALF Travel Award is to support early career research trainees engaged in basic or translational liver research. Travel Awards provide funding for conference registration and travel costs to junior investigators who are still in the training stage and will present their work in liver research. Travel Awards encourage career development opportunities provided to investigators by attending scientific conferences, such as networking and expanding their experience and knowledge of the field.

Undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral trainees who hold MD, PhD or MD/PhD degrees and are training in liver research are encouraged to apply. Individuals who hold a faculty position are not eligible for this award.

Please direct all questions about Travel Awards to the ALF Research Awards Program at research@liverfoundation.org.
