All volunteers must respect ALF's ownership of confidential and proprietary information. Volunteers may not disclose, use, publish, distribute, or in any other manner reveal, directly or indirectly, any confidential and/or proprietary information during or after their volunteer assignment with ALF except when necessary for ALF business with ALF approval.
Confidential information includes information not generally known or available outside ALF, including, without limitation:
• Advocacy strategies, plans, and activities
• Personal information of other advocacy volunteers
Proprietary information includes information developed and owned exclusively by ALF
including, without limitation:
• Any documents or files shared via Basecamp or on other ALF platforms
• Advocate lists
• Spreadsheets, presentations, and reports
• Copyrighted and trademarked materials
• ALF branded templates
I, the undersigned, have read and understand this policy. I understand that all such information that I learn or experience during my volunteer interaction must be held in strict confidence, both during and after the end of my volunteer relationship with ALF. I agree that I will not use confidential information for my own benefit or the benefit of anyone other than ALF nor disclose confidential information to anyone except as required in the course of my volunteer work for ALF. This includes all access to and the work that I perform in the Advocacy Ambassador Basecamp platform. Failure to comply with this policy may result in immediate termination of my volunteer relationship with ALF.
