Hepatitis C
My name is Keith Goss. I was diagnosed with hepatitis C in 1990, after attempting to donate blood. I went through two rounds of treatment locally, which were unsuccessful. Luckily, I had the opportunity to pursue a third round of treatment with Dr. Jensen at the University of Chicago. This round was not only stronger and longer, but
successful. The treatment was difficult, but I was able to keep working and maintain some normalcy. I found a source of strength in my doctors, family, and daily routine. Today I am retired and looking forward to years of fishing. If you are going through treatment, stay strong and know it is worth it.
