I was diagnosed with End-Stage Liver Disease caused from Hepatic Encephalopathy. That began a journey during which I was to learn first hand of the benefits of ALF.

I was born with Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis that was discovered when I was in grade school.

I fell into End Stage Liver Disease (ESLD) from having Hepatitis C for over 30 years. I was unaware I even had Hep C for the first 19 years and got it from a blood transfusion.

Lynette would discover that she had not one, but two forms of liver disease: Cirrhosis, and Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE), a serious brain disorder that’s one of the major complications of cirrhosis.
