Matthew Koontz

Matt currently leads the Product team at tvScientific, a startup helping brands advertise on streaming television platforms. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the advertising technology and media industry and has held leadership roles at several household‑name media and technology companies, including Microsoft, Snapchat, AT&T, and Disney/Hulu. Matt’s extensive expertise in advertising, media, and emerging technology supports ALF’s efforts to elevate its brand, expand digital engagement, and leverage innovative tools to reach broader audiences.

Born with biliary atresia, Matt recently received a lifesaving liver transplant after the Kasai procedure he underwent as a child ultimately failed. Now thriving in both his health and career, Matt is deeply committed to raising awareness about liver disease and helping to dispel stigma surrounding liver conditions. He currently resides in Tampa, Florida, with his wife and young son.

In addition to being a member of ALF’s National Board of Directors, Matt also serves on ALF’s Finance Committee, bringing a unique combination of lived patient experience, strategic product leadership, and financial insight to advancing liver health nationwide.
