ALF Board Vice Chair
David Frank currently serves as Vice Chair of the ALF Board of Directors. His involvement with ALF began in 2014 following the loss of his mother, age 62, to a brief but devastating battle with late-stage metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), previously called nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, or NASH. Motivated to raise awareness of this silent and deadly liver disease, David helped launch the Greater New York Associate Board of Young Professionals in 2017 and joined ALF’s National Board in 2022.
A passionate advocate for liver patients, David is the founder of NASH AWARE, a global blog dedicated to educating the public about Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). The blog reaches readers in dozens of countries each month. He is a frequent speaker at NASH conferences, International NASH Day events, and features regularly in ALF’s educational content.
Professionally, David has over two decades of experience in financial markets, with expertise in trading technology and client strategy. He spent a decade at Goldman Sachs before joining fintech startup Liquid, where he led the Client Success team. Since 2015, he has been with Wells Fargo Securities and is currently the Lead Product Manager for the Cash Equities trading business.
