David Frank

Dave has worked in the financial markets for nineteen years, with a background in trading technology and client relations. He spent ten years at Goldman Sachs, first on the trading floor of the American Stock Exchange and later as a Client Relationship Manager for large broker dealer clients. He left for a small Fintech startup called Liquid, where he built and ran the Client Success team for several years. For the last six years he has been with Wells Fargo Securities running trading systems, most recently helping design and launch an ultra-low latency trading desk.

Dave became involved with ALF in 2014 after he lost his mother, 62, to a brief battle with late-stage NASH. He helped launch what is now the Greater New York Associate Board of Young Professionals in 2017 and joined ALF’s National Board of Directors in 2022. Dave’s focus on NASH as an emerging health threat led him to found NASH AWARE, a blog dedicated to raising awareness for the deadly liver disease. Each month the blog is read by hundreds of people from countries all over the world. He is a regular speaker at NASH conferences, International NASH Day and in ALF educational videos about NASH.
