American Liver Foundation and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) have collaborated to bring you this one-hour patient educational webinar focused on the successes and challenges of liver transplantation in patients with liver cancer. Participants will learn about,

  • Which patients qualify and why are some at a disadvantage when awaiting a deceased donor liver?
  • What to expect during the liver transplant process
  • Common patient concerns and available resources

We will also hear about the patient perspective from Michael Weisner, MD, living donor liver transplant recipient, who will share his story and provide patient perspective.
