Chronic viral hepatitis, particularly Hepatitis B and C, significantly increases the risk of developing liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma or HCC). These viruses cause long-term inflammation and damage to the liver, leading to cirrhosis, a crucial precursor to HCC.
In this 45-minute educational webinar, patients will learn about the link between viral hepatitis and liver cancer, the primary risk factors, and the importance of early detection. The session also covers prevention strategies, lifestyle modifications, and available treatment options to help manage liver health and reduce cancer risk.
