- Ruthanne Leishman of Washington state was presented with the Transplant Innovator Award. Ruthanne has been a passionate advocate for living donor liver transplant both personally on behalf of her late sister and professionally. Ruthanne played a significant role in helping ALF create the Living Donor Network, which connects non-directed liver donors to transplant centers nationwide.
