Autoimmune Hepatitis
I had just had a baby and I wasn’t feeling well. So, I went to doctors who then told me my pain was from delivering. After a couple of months I felt even worse than before. My urine had turned dark, I couldn’t eat, I was vomiting, itching, experienced significant weight loss, fatigue, and my stool was light. I felt like my body was shutting down. One day I woke up and my skin was completely yellow. I was very light headed and dizzy. So, I went to the hospital where they did blood work and a liver biopsy. I than was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. I stayed in the hospital for two weeks. After a year and a half in treatment, I’m now in remission.
Always be your own advocate. If you feel like something is wrong, do not let doctors tell you other wise.
