DESCRIPTION:The American Liver Foundation offers this support network for people who are caregivers for loved ones with liver disease or who have had or need liver transplants. \n\n\n\nCaregivers shoulder many responsibilities that can lead to feelings of stress\, sadness\, isolation\, and fatigue. Sharing the Journey with other caregivers will provide a compassionate environment in which you can give and receive support\, reduce feelings of isolation\, and find ways to cope with the challenges of caregiving. \n\n\n\nAll sessions will be facilitated by a licensed social worker. Liver disease can pose many unique challenges\, both physically and emotionally. Sharing the Journey with others who face these challenges can be extremely helpful. Having a connection with others who truly understand what you are going through can reduce your feelings of isolation and help you find ways to cope.
