*HIV Ab positive
*Positive urine screen for amphetamines, cocaine or opiates (ie, heroin, morphine) at
*Cessation of alcohol consumption for more than 2 months.

Alpha Therapy in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C

If you have a diagnosis of Hepatitis C, you may be eligible to participate in this study.

You Must:

  • Be betweem 25-65 years of age.
  • Have a diagnosis of Hepatitis C.

If you are eligible to participate, you will have:

  • A brain scan (functional Magnetic resonance imaging- fMRI) of approximately 60 minutes to assess the effects of Interferon-alpha on brain function.
  • Assessments to measure your emotional and physical symptoms.

We will:

  • Provide these assessments free of charge.
  • Compensate you for your involvment.
