ALF promotes education, advocacy, support services and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. The ALF Connecticut Division provides a wide variety of these services including information and referral, education programs, support groups, exciting fundraising events, and an array of volunteer opportunities.

The ALF CT is collaborating with Bridgeport health agencies to present a community health and wellness fair on Friday, July 26th. This event is being held in observance of World Hepatitis Day, which is this coming weekend. The event will be held at Baldwin Plaza (bordered by Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street, Bridgeport) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Anyone attending this event will be able to obtain free Hepatitis C and HIV testing; blood pressure screenings; dental information; and various other health-related services and information.

The event will also feature a food truck, DJ, entertainment, giveaways and prizes.

Presenting agencies are ALF CT, CCAR Bridgeport, GBAPP, and the City of Bridgeport Health and Human Services Department.
