The northern California chapter works to raise money through special fundraising events, private contributions and foundations which support the promotion of liver wellness education and information for patients, the public and medical providers and to additionally support our national research agenda. September 27/28. The LLW is a 3-mile pledged fundraising walk event that promotes liver wellness and organ donation while raising funds for liver disease research and education.

Liver LIFE Challenge Climb

June 6-7.The Liver LIFE Climb is a pledged overnight endurance climb event on Mt. Shasta. Apply by January 30, 2009.

San Francisco. The Salute to Excellence Awards Gala is an annual black tie dinner and reception honoring those who have made an outstanding contribution to biotechnology and medical innovation. The event has been held annually for eleven years and to date has raised more than $3.4 million dollars.

March 25th, 2009

The Liver Wellness Series, will provide patients and their loved ones with informational updates on hepatitis B, hepatitis C, Fatty Liver, Liver Cancer and Transplant.
